Why don’t you simply enjoy the songs instead of bringing the Kishore-Rafi angle in? I’d two threads dedicated to the Kishore-Rafi aspect, which the Rafians always whined a lot about (ironically it is mostly they who keep on scanning the Internet for Kishore-Rafi debates – your reference to Kishore in a totally unrelated post is a point of example in itself – the Kishore fans hardly ever care about it), specially when given back left, right and center by the Kishore fans for their Rafi-centric delusions. I’d to finally close down both the threads for any further comments; do you want the same controversy in a Rafi-Lata thread as well?

This thread would be watched closely now, since the Rafians have a bad habit of starting a debate, which they normally can’t handle without getting overtly emotional about, and they don’t have much to share once that happens, except for the same banal “Rafi is this and that” comments, and occasionally even name-calling for the other musical legends. Hope the better sanity prevails amongst them.

P.S. Just for the record, the Kishore-Lata thread has always had 40-80% more hits on this website, compared to the Rafi-Lata one – which should tell something about the popular choice.

lata has sung her highest number of duets with rafi sahab & each song is a masterpiece.There was a time when these legends had an argument and stopped singing with each other. Music directors complained that duets were getting spoiled & brought them back together.

I can suggest few songs to you. But this is just an appetizer. With little effort you an find lots.
