Some clarification:

My traffic comparison with that of Mr Bachchan's weblog was merely a joke, and a tribute to his greatness and a massive fan following (myself included therein) that he enjoys even today. Some people missed out my point and started making stupid comments. I had to delete those baseless observations so as to save my time and energy.

Nobody, however good at writing, can succeed in attaining the kind of response, Big B has generated through his blogging in these few weeks. It's Big B's immenseness as a Bollywood actor, which is gathering thousands to his website, and not just his vocabulary - his linguistic excellence was proved beyond any doubt three and half decades ago, so nothing more remains to be proven there.

<strong>@ pradeep,</strong>

Your observations do make good sense. However, the idea behind suspecting Big B's own involvement is to gather the truth behind this whole exercise. And scores are trying to learn about it, not just this blogger.

This blog is Bachchan's ,every word of it.I have followed his interviews an d even writings and his use of words and expressions remain the same for about 25 years. He has written before ,a 2 page tribute to Manmohan desai after his death in IndiaToday, and many more esp independent day specials for mainstream dailies etc.The problem is that people ascribe less intelligence to actors or consider them unidimensional. One anecnote will reveal the cause and effect of this.Yeard ago a function was organized which was attended by Mr Natwar Singh ,Ms Jayanti Natarajan and Mr B among others. As each speakers spoke and audience expected to hear harmless cliched words from AB he gave an impromptu one which ended with standing ovation. This was revealed by Ms Natrajan in her column who said never she imagined AB to be so articulate and intelligent.AB loves good english revels in it.In fact his early interviews before he became BIG B and cautious are gems.
